In this three-day workshop with award-winning botanical artist Alice Rosa, students will explore the art of botanical illustration through the rich, nuanced medium of colored pencil. Beginning with close observation and foundational drawing techniques, participants will learn how to carefully study plant structure and translate its form with accuracy and sensitivity onto paper. Designed as an accessible introduction to the medium, this workshop encourages experimentation and close looking.
